# Rewrite and grammar check

> Polish your draft replies with the Rewrite and Grammar Check buttons in the RAUM AI Zendesk toolbar.

The RAUM AI toolbar includes two writing assistance tools to help agents polish their replies before sending.

## Grammar Check

Fixes grammar and spelling in the current composer text without changing your meaning, tone, or formatting. Handles up to 5,000 characters.

**When to use it:** After writing a quick reply that might have typos or grammatical errors.

    Type your response in the Zendesk reply composer.

  <Step title="Click Grammar Check">
    Click **Grammar Check** in the RAUM AI toolbar. The text is corrected in place.

  <Step title="Review and send">
    Check the corrected text and send when ready.
  </Step>

## Rewrite

Rewrites the current composer text while keeping the same meaning. Useful for turning a rough or informal draft into a polished reply.

**When to use it:** When you have the right answer but want the wording to sound more professional or on-brand.

    Click **Rewrite** in the RAUM AI toolbar. The text is rewritten in place.

    Read the rewritten version, make any final edits, and send.
  </Step>

## Chat mode equivalents

In chat and messaging tickets, these features appear as:

| Button       | What it does                                              |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Fix**      | Fixes grammar and spelling (equivalent to Grammar Check)  |
| **Friendly** | Rewrites the text to sound warmer and more conversational |
| **Expand**   | Expands a short note into a more complete reply           |
