Open Chatbot → Widgets → Appearance to configure how the website widget looks. Changes are made to the widget draft. Save and publish before visitors receive the new appearance.

Basics

Set the widget name used in the Chatbot administration interface. Language and welcome-message localization are managed separately under Languages.

Colors

Configure Primary color and Surface color. Primary color is used for prominent branded elements. Surface color controls the widget’s base surface/background treatment.

Corner radius

Set a corner radius from 0 to 32. Use Preview to check both the chat window and smaller controls rather than judging the value from the number alone.

Launcher position

Choose Bottom right or Bottom left.

Launcher shape

Choose Circle, Rounded square, or Pill.

Desktop window size

Choose Compact, Medium, or Large. Mobile layout is controlled separately.

Theme

Choose Automatic, Light, or Dark. Automatic allows the runtime to use the appropriate theme behavior rather than forcing one appearance.

Mobile behavior

Choose Full screen or Bottom sheet. Check the mobile Preview after changing this. Desktop screenshots are remarkably unhelpful for proving that a mobile bottom sheet is pleasant to use. The header logo appears beside the widget name. The artwork editor can use stored widget assets or a configured URL according to the current editor.

Assistant avatar

The assistant avatar appears in the launcher and next to Assistant replies. Keep it visually legible at small sizes.

RAUM branding

A widget can inherit the organization’s default Show Built with RAUM setting or override it when inheritance is disabled. Organization defaults are managed at the top of the Widgets page.

Preview before publishing

The Preview tab renders these appearance values using the public widget stylesheet. Review the launcher open/closed, desktop, mobile, theme behavior, artwork contrast, and long translated labels. Widget Preview →
